1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the BIOVEXA website and any order you place with us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase from us.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase. By ordering you confirm that you are a qualified researcher, laboratory, or institution, or are purchasing on behalf of one. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
3. Research use only
All products are sold strictly for laboratory research use. They are not drugs, medicines, food, dietary supplements, or cosmetics, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition. 4. Orders and pricing
All prices are shown in US dollars. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel any order arising from such an error, in which case any amount paid will be refunded in full. Your order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods.
5. Payment — cash on delivery
All orders are paid in cash to the courier at the time of delivery. Payment must be made in full, in US dollars, before the parcel is handed over. Please have the exact amount available where possible.
We may contact you by telephone to confirm an order before dispatch. If an order cannot be confirmed, we may hold or cancel it.
6. Delivery
We currently deliver within Lebanon only. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by circumstances outside our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please ensure someone is available to receive temperature-sensitive goods.
If a parcel cannot be delivered because no one is available, or if delivery is refused, the order will be returned to us. We may contact you to rearrange delivery. Repeated refusals may result in cash on delivery being withdrawn for future orders.
7. Storage and handling
Products must be stored at 2–8 °C, protected from light. Handle only by qualified personnel using appropriate protective equipment, and only within a controlled laboratory environment.
8. Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy. Because orders are paid cash on delivery, approved refunds are not returned to a card; they are paid by bank transfer in US dollars or in cash by arrangement.
9. Product information
We take care to describe our products accurately, but we do not warrant that descriptions, specifications, or other content are error-free or complete. Certificates of analysis are provided per batch. Product appearance may vary slightly between batches.
10. No medical claims
Nothing on this website constitutes medical, veterinary, or pharmaceutical advice. No therapeutic or clinical claim is made or implied for any product. Our products have not been evaluated or approved by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health or any other regulatory authority as a medicine or supplement.
11. Prohibited use
You may not use our products for any purpose other than bona fide laboratory research, and you may not resell, relabel, or supply them to third parties for human or animal use. You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations applicable to the purchase, possession, and use of these products in Lebanon.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BIOVEXA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from misuse of our products, from use inconsistent with these terms or our policies, or from improper storage or handling after delivery. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Lebanese law.
13. Intellectual property
The BIOVEXA name, logo, product photography, and all site content are owned by us and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without written permission.
14. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order applies to that order.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of Lebanon.
